Justitie in hart geraakt. "Justice hit in its heart." was the title of the cover of the Standaard on the 4th of June 2010.A day before a judge was killed right in court, in Brussels.I followed everything from the start (on request for Het Nieuwsblad), and my picture of lawyers grieving for their collegue was chosen for the Frontpage of De Standaard, a quality newspaper in Belgium.

My Kuregem-series in the Financial Times Germany. It is up to the authors what they do with your pictures. Of course they wanted to give a negative image to this neighbourhood, and in that way my pictures fitted great to their piece. It's a pity to say, but by making these strong doomy, negative pictures of Kuregem, at least troubles in this neigbourhood got a lot of attention, and things will be getting better soon.
